My abortion heartbreak, by Nicole Appleton
Talented artist sacrificed all for career, and them some
by Kieren McCarthy
Talented artist Nicole Appleton has revealed how record bosses forced her to abort the love child fathered by fellow performer Robbie Williams for the sake of her band All Saints.
The diminutive star, famous for having a sister who is also attractive, told tabloids how she wanted to kill herself after being persuaded to get rid of the foetus. But she didn't, and now it is just her career that is swinging lifeless from the rafters.
The revelation is surprising in that it comes just before the release of her autobiography — jointly ghosted with her sister — and during a time in which, despite a recent single, newspapers seem reluctant to help rebuild her ego.
According to insiders though, it is not the first time Nicole has been persuaded to alter her sexual behaviour at the behest of a music company and in the interests of furthering her career.
One told The Rockall Times that Nicole is rumoured to have taken it up the gary of the advice of a senior executive who told her it may help her hit the high notes. She later complied with his request for wolf banging in the hope of hitting the low and middle ones too.
Her antics even extended to the celebrity boyfriends who she has needed to stay in the media spotlight. According to one source, she quite reasonably refused to put Jamie Theaskton's old boy in her mouth for fear of "where it may have been". However, after a consulation between Theakston's agent, two Sun reporters and her promoter, Appleton happily chowed down and even swallowed the celebrity haircut's man juice.
Most recently, Nicole ignored the advice of the UK's foremost geneticists and produced a child with manc Liam Gallagher after her manager said it would help her image.
She has not always been so easily led though. We tracked down Nicole's arts teacher from school who told us she was anything but compliant when he knew her. "I remember I asked her what she wanted to do," he told us. "And she said 'a singer, dancer and an actress'. So I told her: 'Well in that case, get some singing, dancing and acting lessons for God's sake'. I was wasting my breath as usual."
