Caged kiddie-fiddler likely to serve 'ten minutes in open prison'

Predatory paedophile Michael Wheeler was jailed last week for sickening crimes against 13-year-old-girls. Justice is done. Or is it?

Incredibly, because of a loophole in the law and because he told the trial judge he was sorry, Wheeler could be free again to molest innocent kiddies by as early as TOMORROW MORNING.

Think about that as your children are eating their ReadyBrek before setting off for school. Then get a placard and get yourself shouting down to the nearest police station before your underage daughter ends up as a pervert's whimpering sex receptacle. Take your kids. They might learn something.

It's a damning indictment on modern society that while a Berkshire couple can do 15 years' hard time in a rotting prison hulk off Gravesend for simply molesting a neighbour's leylandii hedge with a pair of secateurs, Wheeler is unlikely to suffer more than a couple of hours as Lord Archer's "bitch" in cushy Belmarsh Open Prison.

At worse, he will be obliged to perform "executive relief" on the disgraced peer in return for the "Daddy's" protection from nonce-enraged fellow inmates. The gates of freedom will then swing open and Marsh will once again be free to prowl the internet in search of fresh "meat".

Make no mistake, Marsh is no common-or-garden paedo pond life. No, he is a highly-qualified computer expert who used his knowledge of the so-called "Web" to lure his victims with gifts and flattery.

Marsh played the long game. In one case, he began to communicate with his intended victim via an internet chat room while she was still in the womb. The hours the unsuspecting mother-to-be spent surfing would eventually lead to tragedy. But she didn't know that then. Nor did we. But Marsh did.

What Marsh also knew is that men who have sex with girls under the age of 13 are liable to have their genitals removed with a can opener and stuffed into their still-screaming mouths before deportation to the Antipodes aboard an ageing and second-rate Greek cruise liner with few modern entertainment facilities.

Once the "puppy" has passed that crucial watershed, the maximum penalty for sexually aggravated rape and murder of a minor is 10 hours community service or a £30 fine. That's why Michael Wheeler will be running his filthy hands over another family's beloved daughter before you've finished reading this sentence. Or the next paragraph if he gets held up in traffic on his way to the "meeting".

The question we must ask ourselves is this: How for the love of all that's Holy did the British legal system come to such a pass? How can it be right that millions of honest citizens are punished daily for modestly exceeding the stated speed limit while registered sex offenders freely roam the world's chat rooms luring the lonely and vulnerable into their perverted world of fear and depravity and while Albanian dole scroungers in floral print wing-collar nylon shirts burn down the very luxury accommodation we the British tax payers have open-armedly provided them and while we as a nation live in expectation of the cross-channel invasion we have so long feared: Johnny Frenchie and Kraus the Kraut with their stinking plastic euro notes and their so-called "Eurozone" common interest rate.

Well, it's not right, is it?
