Outrage over FCUK KING CNUT range of products

SHIITE bath towels also set to offend millions

by Flash Gorman

Controversially shy clothing company French Connection has once again been dragged, against its will, into the public eye. Famous for its hilarious FCUK logo, the company has attracted criticism with its new range, named after an eleventh century English King.

The CNUT logo is emblazoned across a wide selection of otherwise unremarkable garments, which are already being bought in droves by stupid people the world over. Some consumers however, notably those with a mental age in excess of twelve, see the new logo as merely another attempt to sell clothes by having a misspent swearword on the front of them.

The COO of French Connection, Neil Williams, has angrily rejected these charges. "The reason we are using King CNUT in our branding, is because he is a very relevant figure to the youth of today. He managed to create a peaceful kingdom in what was a very turbulent time and he did all that stuff with getting the sea to go back," he explained.

"That's just the sort of stuff today's kids are into. Absolutely," he added.

Commentators have estimated that the social shock of the new logos will last until at least mid November, which is oddly enough when French Connection will be releasing its range of SHIITE beachwear.
