Compose poetry and win Rockall Times t-shirts

Competition to unearth our readers' hidden talents

by De Management

To celeberate our recent re-emergence onto the world satire scene, we at The Rockall Times are offering readers the chance to win some magnificent Rockall t-shirts

All you have to do for a chance to walk away with some must-have apparel is compose a Japanese haiku in praise of the world's remotest islet.

The haiku is a 17-syllable poemette, often deployed to sing the praises of cherry blossom and other Nipponese delights. What we want, though, is something which really encapsulates the sacred island of Rockall in all its North Atlantic glory.

Four lucky readers will win one of our "Rockall Britannia" t-shirts and the overall winner can pick any two items from the current range.

And that's all there is to it. Send your entries to us here, marking the subject of the email "Rockall Haiku". We'll announce the results in a couple of weeks.
