Real Madrid sign talented youngster

Talent scouts score major coup

by Janus Motsonius

Top Spanish soccer outfit Real Madrid have signed an exclusive deal with an unborn foetus, we can exclusively reveal.

The youngster was spotted by talent scouts when his mum popped into hospital for a routine scan at the same time that Real officials were taking David Beckham's credibility for its twice-yearly health check. The lad apparently showed "real potential" in the leg department which led to the immediate deployment of a lucrative contract.

As soon as the boy is born and the umbilical cord cut he will be moved to the Escuela Deportivo de Futbol Federation Madrid for intensive skill-honing concentrating on negotiating image rights, securing sponsorship deals and avoiding morally lax and bow-legged Spanish personal assistants.

The unborn child's father — taking a few moments from thumbing through the brochure for a luxury gated development in Madrid — gasped: "It's a tremendous opportunity with the most famous club in the world. It hasn't sunk in yet. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to pick up the keys for my new Merc."

Sources at the Real Madrid camp confirm that Becks and Ronaldo recently saw a scan of the club's latest signing and patted his mother on the head before wishing her luck.
