Galloway faces oil-fired US grilling

Raghead-loving Jock back in the dock

by Greg Doublewank

George GallowayGeorge Galloway, Independent MP for Bethnal Green, was back under the spotlight this week facing further allegations that he was involved in an oil for food scam. A United Nations probe alleges Mr Galloway was the recipient of 11 million barrels of oil, reputedly acquired in a series of shady deals in Iraq.

The towel-head-loving Jock has previously undergone questioning by the US Senate about his business activities saying there was not a shred of evidence to support these rumours.

Speaking to our reporter aboard his new luxury yacht moored in the Azores, Mr Galloway again refuted these accusations. Whilst lighting up a Monte Cristo II cigar with a hundred dollar bill, he testily argued that he was being unfairly dragged once more into an unwelcome farrago of dubious questions and political intrigue. "Just because I happened to meet with Mr. Hussein in Iraq, who was after all the legitimate head of state of that country, I am continually bombarded with allegations of corruption and having truck with despots and tyrants. This just is not true, ask my good friend Mr Blair, he will put you straight," Galloway asserted.

Further evidence of "unwise" business deals by Mr Galloway were coming to light, when it was revealed that he had recently met with Kim Jong Il concerning a Kentucky Fried Chicken franchise in Pyongyang, enjoyed a two-day whistle stop tour of Syria to discuss the sale of sand to the military and held several "closed door" meetings with President Ahmadinejad of Iran, obstensibily to negotiate the opening of Iranian Novelty gift stores in Tel Aviv.
