Rockall Ho! 2005: How you can help

Between 11-24 June 2005 the Rockall Ho! assault team will sail from Stromness, Orkney aboard the MV Invicible and proceed directly to the sacred islet of Rockall. Quite a daunting prospect given that it is 230 miles west of the nearest bit of land, but after the experiences of our 2003 adventure, we are confident that we will this time stand atop the world's remotest islet.

Corporate sponsors

Jaunts to Rockall don't come cheap, and the total cost of the 2005 trip is £7,000 — excluding personal expenses such as flights and so forth. The Rockall Times is funding a large part of this, but we'd be absolutely delighted if any businesses would like to help offset the cost and earn themselves a place on our corporate sponsors' roll-call of honour.

You can donate right now to the Rockall Ho! 2005 charity appeal — in aid of Mental Health Media's MEdia project — at our dedicated Justgiving.com page. Funds from UK donors will be boosted by an additional 28 per cent which Justgiving claims back from the Inland Revenue. Lovely.

Merchandise
